Pro Tip
Vetiver is a very viscous essential oil, thick as molasses, and sometimes the easy way to access the oil is to pop the single-drop insert and slowly pour out a drop free-style.
Steam distilled from the robust root of the Vetiver plant, our Vetiver Essential Oil is organically harvested in Madagascar as part of a special project that grows Vetiver to prevent topsoil erosion. Skin thrives with Vetiver’s replenishing verdancy and senses revive upon inhaling this earthy-exudate.
Vetiver’s full-bodied fragrance earthbounds energy and ensconces the body with earthly ardor.
“Very few remedies, aromatic or otherwise, exert the same depth of restorative action as vetiver.”
~ Peter Homes, Aromatica
“The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.”
~ Henry Miller
“Vetiver nourishes people who have cold feet or have their heads in the clouds. When we lose contact with the ground beneath us, with reality, we pay the price of a weakened immune system. When in touch with the earth, we breathe fresh air, enjoy the magic of an open fire, and feel the wind blow through our hair.”
~ Susanne Fischer-Rizzi, The Complete Aromatherapy Handbook
HC –
Deep, earthy, grounding
“This is my first oil from Living Libations and it smells so earthy and deep. I put a dab on each wrist in the morning and it grounds me all day! Definitely not for those wanting light, fresh, flowery. To me it smells a little rougher and tougher, which is a nice change! I would say this could be just as nice on a man as on a woman.
