More about Evolve Organic Beauty
Evolve Beauty's promise
Natural and Organic
We believe that natural organic skincare ingredients are better for us than their synthetic alternatives. You can see the percentage of natural ingredients on the label of each product you buy from us.
Artisan Made
We make small batches of skincare by hand in our artisan studio in Hertfordshire, which means that your skincare is fresher when you open the bottle. We are proud to be an independent British company and every time we send an order out to you, our customers, we really care that it is perfect.
Green Science
We choose ‘green science’, the power of plants, over the synthetic alternatives you will find in most mass produced cosmetics and toiletries. Laura and Violaine in our development team together have over 30 years experience in formulating the most effective natural products. Our products are not just a pretty face, as we select active natural ingredients such as our coconut peptides, natural hyaluronic acid, natural retinols from rosehips and our silicone-free hair serums.
Being Honest
We promise to tell you the truth about what is in our products, and what they can do for your skin. We don’t make up crazy claims or try to baffle you with science.
Real Beauty
Skincare should be enjoyable! Natural ingredients have such wonderful scents and textures and we celebrate the beauty of them in the products we create. We also want to help you get the most out of your beauty products by passing on beauty wisdom about how to use our products and look after your skin.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! In our products, we exclusively employ essential oil mixes that are 100 percent natural. Any of our collection sites allows you to view which goods have which kinds of fragrances.
Blend of Natural Fragrances - Blends of natural fragrances are complex mixtures of naturally occurring aromatic raw materials, such as volatile concentrates, isolates, and essential oils. These naturally occurring chemicals are physically separated from natural substances as contrasted to an entire essential oil contained in a plant.
This is identified as parfum on our components list.
The term "essential oil blend" refers to a combination of essential oils that have been physically extracted from plants (nearly typically produced organically) by steam or cold pressing. Essential oils are presented separately with their inci numbers in our ingredient listings.
Unfortunately the tocopherol used in some of our products is not suitable for soy allergy sufferers as it is derived from soy.
It is rich in Omega 6 which is essential for maintaining healthy skin and hair, and it’s high fatty acid content means that it offers a range of health benefits from supporting mental health to improved cardiac health. But why should we use vitamin F in our skincare?
In this blog we’ll talk all about what it actually is, where it is found, the benefits of vitamin F and how to include it in your own skincare routine.
Vitamin F has a whole host of benefits for our skin, from protecting and hydrating to keeping it calm and giving it a glow. Here are just some examples of what vitamin F does for the skin.
- Protects Skin
As it makes ceramides on the skin, these help to build our outermost layer of skin and act like glue to keep cells together. This means that vitamin F can help to block out irritants, UV light and pollutants that would otherwise damage skin. - Retains Moisture
Vitamin F becomes ceramides when used on the skin, a family of lipids that help form the skin’s barrier and help the skin retain moisture. - Reduces Inflammation
Vitamin F can help with some inflammatory skin conditions such as dermatitis and psoriasis as it helps to reduce inflammation as well as regulate healthy cell function, and excessive water loss. - Calms Skin
Helps to soothe and calm irritated skin by helping our skin’s barrier become healthier. This aids with irritable and inflamed skin as well as helping to calm troubled skin such as those prone to breakouts and blemishes. - Tackles Blemishes
Some studies have shown that those who experience trouble with acne prone skin could reduce blemishes by 25% in around a month, by applying linoleic acid (vitamin F) topically.
