Blends well with: Sage, Patchouli, Buddhawood, Vetiver, Palo Santo, Cedar, Tangerine, Blood Orange, Lavender, Sandalwood, Mountain Myrtle, Rose Otto, Frankincenses, Douglas Fir, White Cedar, Lemon, Spikenard, Bergamot, Thyme, and Tobacco.
Uses: A traditional smudging essence. Spritz, diffuse, or inhale to purify places and passageways. Inhale to ease a pounding head. The bright scent is associated with cleanliness and is a classic addition to household cleansers.
Constituents: 13.51% beta-Phellandrene, 1,8-Cineole, Artemiseole, Camphor, and Camphene.
Contraindications: Dilute before using. Sensitive skin should patch test.

One of the hardest-working shrubs in Western North America is Artemisia tridentata, and our Blue Sagebrush grows well in the region’s grasslands due to periodic flooding. The natural plant component beta-Phellandrene gives this shrub a scent that is stimulating, herbaceous, and camphoraceous, but with a hint of mint and mild citrus.

The original Native American incense aroma is provided by blue sagebrush. This traditional smudging essence can be used to cleanse spaces and pathways by diffusing it, inhaling it, or placing it in a salt pipe. Blue sagebrush oil is a traditional component to home cleaners, and its aroma is linked to fresh cleanliness.
