Uses: Lungs love Saro. It is boundless as a botanicalbiotic. Add a drop to a salt pipe or diffuser. Apply a drop neat to the temples or the back of the neck to quiet throbbing and tame tension. Lends warmth to rubbing oils. In Ayurvedic terms it purifies prana and udana.
Contraindications: Dilute to use on children.

Only on Madagascar do members of the Cannellaceae family of plants, such as Cinnamosma fragrans, flourish. This medium-sized evergreen shrub is known locally as mandravasarotra, which means “keeps bad things away.” The inhabitants of Madagascar make decoctions and infusions from the aromatic leaves to be used as poultices, balms, and restorative tonics for a variety of illnesses and discomfort
