Salt and aromatic oils used in the Dutch Health Store Salt Inhaler effectively purify. The salt granules and molecules of the essential oils bathe and strengthen the breath. To use this straightforward instrument, simply remove the bottom plug from the inhaler, put the granules in and add 3–10 drops of essential oil to the base, and then replace the plug. Inhale deeply and exhale through the nose while holding the pipe close to your mouth. Alternate nostril breathing is a yoga technique you could try (Nadi Shodhana Pranayama). For up to 20 minutes, repeat. While essential oil drops retain their potency for up to 3 weeks, Himalayan salt is useful for two years.

How to use

It’s easy to utilize this straightforward tool. Remove the bottom of the inhaler’s plug, add three to ten drops of essential oil into the base (after putting the granules in), and then replace the plug. Inhale deeply and exhale through the nose while holding the pipe close to your mouth. Alternate nostril breathing involves inhaling deeply while expelling via the other nostril while holding the inhaler to each nose.  Continue doing this up to 20 minutes. It’s crucial that inhalers not be shared because they are used directly on the nose and mouth.

How long is the Salt effective?

If the pipe is kept dry, the salt never needs to be refilled. Himalayan pink salt is constantly pure and fresh by nature. A fresh batch of salt, which is simple to find in bulk at any health shop, can, nevertheless, be pleasant to start with every few years. The essential oils must be renewed because their scent is fading.

Which essential oil should i use? 

For the inhaler, Frankincense, Black Spruce, Immune Illume, Peppermint, Eucalyptus,Rosemary, and all of the fir oils make excellent candidates because they enhance both physical and mental clarity. Ylang, Rose Otto, Cape and Roman chamomiles, Neroli, Bergamot, Lemon, Lavender, and Marjoram are some other classy options.

In the evening, try Sweet Sleep Serum. Frankincense and bergamot are upbeat and reassuring for any anxiety. Feel free to experiment with uplifting and focusing essential oils like sage and lemon. Additionally excellent choices include Revive Alive, Frankincense First Friend, Illume Classic Camphorous, Feeling Good Today, Laurel Oracle, and Bedtime Story Blend.

How much essential oil should i use? 

Start with no less than five drops and keep experimenting to find the strength you like most. Although we’ve discovered that 10 drops of oil is the sweet spot, it really depends on the individual and the oils being inhaled.

How to add the essential oils? 

There is a tiny aperture at the bottom of the inhaler (it looks similar to the opening on the bottom of a piggy bank). This opening can be filled with the oils.

How long should I use the inhaler?

Every one to two breaths should be filtered through the inhaler for the best results, which can be achieved by using it continuously for 5 to 10 minutes. The inhaler can be used every day.

Using the Salt Inhaler is a less messy, ans less irritating device than a Neti pot. A different and more meditative experience, salt inhalers are also mess-free, simple to use, quick to set up, and excellent for travel. When traveling by car, train, or air, we advise packing a salt inhaler.
