Time slows right down with this sultry unguent that smoothes and softens everything: folds, lines, edges, cracks, tension, mood, temper…

I created this composition as an Ode to artisan coffee and it’s incredible contributions to healthy, smooth, strong, unfolded skin. It is also an homage to our friend Paul Geshos of Mecca Coffee and his beautiful work with small ethical coffee farmers and collectives around the world. The knowledge and dedication of everyone to the whole process, the quality and ritual is mind blowing.

Both the ‘silver skin’ coffee husk and dried ‘Cascara’ coffee cherry are byproducts of Paul’s artisanal coffee creation, and I’m so grateful to be allowed to phoenix them as SMOOTH OPERATOR.

Sun-infused extracts of ‘Cascara’ coffee cherry and ‘Silver skin’ coffee husk pair with unrefined green coffee seed oil and roast coffee bean oil to deliver the whole spectrum of this magical fruit most of us consume daily – a simply habitual moment for some, a deeply ritualistic moment for others. For Christo and I, having coffee together every morning is a moment when time stands still, surfaces become smooth, edges soften, and infinite possibilities unfold.

ZERO ESSENTIAL OILS
To let the aromas and fragrances of my extracts and oils unfold naturally, I have chosen to add zero essential oils to any of our KAIROS MOMENT compositions. This means their energetic ethereal body charge is much more subtle and comes from the naturally occurring, non-isolated essential oils within the plant matter like seeds, fruit, flowers, leaves, bark, etc. I am extracting into biodynamic Olive oil. The aroma of these very complex compositions is oscillating, specific, momentous – Kairological.

I created our vivid new compositions during our very own Kairos moment in 2020, when time stood still for all of us. And in that elastic pause between inhale and exhale we got to play, explore and make some skincare magic.

Ritual

Use in the morning to wake up and smooth the shadows of the night right off your face.

Great to use daily or alternate with any other composition from the KAIROS collection. Or mix and match if you’re game – this is your moment!

Massage a few drops into still damp, clean skin every morning, using your ring fingers starting from the eyes. Your ring fingers have the lightest touch of all your digits and won’t pull your skin.

Layer under PRECIOUS FACE ELIXIR and/or ELEMENTAL DAY SILK if desired. We recommend using our compositions for a few weeks exclusively to harness it’s potency and gently transition your skin into it’s new, natural and healthy state.
