Our Story

Bur Bur wasn't born from a boardroom or a marketing strategy. It sprouted from a seed of family tradition and a desire for clean, effective haircare. The founders, Anna Dzhilavyan and Ksenia Zaytseva, credit their grandmother for introducing them to the wonders of burdock root, a natural remedy used for generations to strengthen and revitalize hair.

This childhood memory blossomed into a mission. Witnessing the limitations of conventional hair products laden with harsh chemicals, they sought a better way. After two years of extensive research and formulation, Bur Bur was born. It's more than just a brand; it's a commitment to harnessing nature's power for hair wellness, while promoting conscious consumerism and environmental responsibility. Bur Bur's story is one of family heritage, scientific innovation, and a deep respect for the natural world, reflected in every bottle.

Ditch the chemicals and embrace tradition! Explore Bur Bur's natural products now and discover the power of burdock root for your hair.

Our Ingredients

Bur Bur's philosophy revolves around harnessing nature's best for healthy, nourished hair. Their products are free from harsh chemicals and parabens, instead focusing on potent botanical ingredients. At the heart of their formulas lies the star ingredient:

• Burdock Root: A time-tested hair hero, burdock root is rich in essential fatty acids and inulin, a prebiotic that nourishes the scalp for healthy hair growth. It's also known for its anti-inflammatory properties, helping to soothe scalp irritation and promote a healthy environment for hair follicles to thrive.

Beyond burdock root, Bur Bur incorporates a symphony of botanical powerhouses:

• Nettle Leaf Extract: This natural powerhouse is packed with vitamins and minerals like iron, magnesium, and zinc, all crucial for healthy hair growth. It also helps to regulate sebum production, leaving hair feeling balanced and manageable.
• Vitamin C: A potent antioxidant, vitamin C protects hair from environmental damage caused by free radicals. It also aids in iron absorption, which plays a vital role in hair growth and strength.
• Olive Squalane: This plant-derived oil mimics the skin's natural sebum, offering deep hydration without weighing hair down. It helps to smooth frizz and promote a healthy shine, leaving hair feeling soft and silky.
