They are airy little flowers, representing summer, meadows and freedom. Traditionally, they represent remembrance of the dead and comfort. The poppy owes this symbolism to the battlefields in northern France that were filled with these beautiful flowers after the First World War. For many people, therefore, they also represent hope and renewal. The vase holds 10 poppies, but of course they also look great in a mixed bouquet, or, just one in a small vase! The stems are about 59 cm long.
