Brittle hair doesn’t need more surface moisture — it needs repair at the fiber level.

This sulfate-free bar combines castor oil with Longsheng rice water to cleanse gently while delivering strengthening amino acids and fatty acids deep into the hair strand. It’s made with the same fermented rice water the Red Yao women of southern China have long relied on as their primary hair care treatment.

Castor oil contributes ricinoleic acid, which supports scalp circulation and encourages hair to grow in thicker and more flexible. Chamomile soothes the scalp, while rose geranium helps balance oil production.

Scent: An elegant, calming floral blend of chamomile and soft rose geranium — soothing without being sweet.
What it feels like: A creamy, gentle lather that cleanses without stripping. Hair feels softer and more pliable even before conditioning, and dries with noticeably less brittleness.

Switching from liquid shampoo? Brittle hair may need 3–4 washes to fully recalibrate, as the natural oils in this bar need time to replace the silicone coating left behind by conventional products.
