What’s the difference?

1. Appearance

Our Normal Scalp Treatment previously maintained a balm texture. After warming it up in your hands, it became like a thick gel prior to application. With this, it was quite messy to use the treatment, as it came in a jar where most of us would stick our hands into.
Our Rosemary Scalp Treatment comes in a tall bottle carrying the liquid formulation. Its consistency is similar to a serum, making it easy to collect with the dropper cap.

2. Application

For the Normal Scalp Treatment, you would have a pea-sized amount of the product on your finger tip and apply it directly to your scalp lines. However, the thick texture was difficult to avoid getting on your hair along the way! And when it came time for washing, it often took 3 shampoo washes to avoid post-wash greasiness.
For the Rosemary Scalp Treatment, you may place the tip of the dropper directly onto your scalp and slowly push out the liquid along your scalp line. This made the application much easier, accurate, and less messy! And afterwards, you may rub and massage your scalp as normal. When washing, it only takes 1-2 shampoo washes to avoid post-wash greasiness, in most cases. And it makes our Herbal Shampoo more foamy, and easier to lather!

3. Ingredients

Our Normal Scalp Treatment contains a total of 23 ingredients, all focused on hair thickness, stimulating hair growth, and moisturizing your scalp.
However, our Rosemary Scalp Treatment contains the same 23 ingredients and more, for a total of 32 powerful herbs and oils. It now includes herbal ingredients targeting DHT, the hormone responsible for hair loss and pattern baldness. Additionally, its primary ingredient Rosemary now comes in two forms – oil and herbal extract. The emphasis on Rosemary is important, as this herb is best known to accelerate hair growth & prevent premature greying!

4. Amount of Herbs

Our Normal Scalp Treatment contains a blend of 5 herbs with Bhringaraj Leaf Extract, Brahmi Leaf Extract, Tulsi Leaf Powder, Shikakai Nut Extract, and Neem Leaf Extract. Our new Rosemary Scalp Treatment contains a blend of over 15 herbs, including the ones above! Additionally, it also contains Fenugreek Seed Extract, Fo-ti Extract, Saw Palmetto Fruit Extract, Red Clover Extract, Rosemary Extract, and so much more. A large part of creating a stronger formulation was adding onto the existing herbs that already made our scalp treatment great!
