Nature spoils us once again and end of may and early June the elder bushes get covered with the beautiful and aromatic elderflowers.
Ready in: 36 hours
All you need is:
- 3-4 elderflower clusters
(the mini umbrella like branch covered with the white flowers)
- 1 lemon
- 1,5l of water
- big jar or a water jug
- Put the elderflowers, cut lemon in 8 and squeeze out the juice(remove skin if your lemon is not organic), put water and let in fridge for 24 to 36 hours.
- Strain and enjoy directly or store leftovers in the fridge in closed bottle.
- You may re-use the flowers for another batch after the first one and change the lemon.
