(Recipe) Autumn Cookies

The comforting flavors of apple, peanut butter, and dark chocolate come together in these autumn cookies. They’re simple to prepare, naturally sweetened, and make a perfect snack for cozy afternoons with tea or coffee. Nutritious yet indulgent, they’re a family favorite you’ll want to bake all season long.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples

  • 175 g rolled oats

  • 25 g flaxseed

  • 50 g unsalted butter

  • 80 g dark chocolate

  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Grate the apples with the skin on and let them drain slightly in a colander.

  2. Combine the grated apple with oats, flaxseed, peanut butter, and butter. Add a pinch of salt.

  3. Roughly chop the chocolate and stir it into the oat mixture.

  4. Shape the mixture into 10 cookies and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Flatten them slightly.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (350 °F) for about 30 minutes, until golden brown and firm.

👉 Allow to cool before removing from the tray.
