Apothecary Rose Absolute has a long and rich history of use in perfumery. Centuries ago in Asia, Rosa gallica was cross-bred with Rosa phoenicia to create Rosa damascena, the ultra-refined strain of rose used in the creation of our Rose Otto Essential Oil. When compared with the pristine purity of Rose Otto, the unexpected woodsy, almost citrusy base notes of Apothecary Rose present as ravishing and rebellious; this is a true renegade rose that is a delight to anyone that stops to smell the roses.

As the chemical constituents are identical to that of Rose Otto, with the main difference lying in the distillation process, Apothecary Rose offers many of the same physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits at a smaller price.
