Uses

Dilute to use in blends for muscle and Moontime massages. Widely used in the culinary world, a drop of Basil Essential Oil is perfect in olive oil tea with honey, soups, salad dressings, and other savory delights. A drop or two will add a deep, spicy, sublime basil flavor to any culinary dish. Diffuse with citrus oils and firs; use in the salt pipe with grapefruit and eucalyptus oils.

Contraindications

This sweet basil of the linalool, low estragole variety is very gentle, yet it is recommended to avoid basil during pregnancy.

Our particular distillation of basil is rich in linalool, making this variety gentle, sweet and suited for skincare.
The aroma also has an affinity with clarity as we open meditatively to the cerebral sways of inner communication and intuition.

    Basil- mind lifter
    Basil oil is quite a bit different than the basil leaf. It is deeper and more fragrant in its concentration. Basil is reputed to be an excellent brain booster, stomach calmer and mood elevator. Basil works well with other culinary oils like rosemary and sage.

    Basil oil- so versatile
    I really love this oil, it’s smell is pronounced and freshly invigorating! My first experience having it used on my face from a massage left me feeling great for the whole day!

    I’m so happy to have this amazing oil! For now, I use a drop of it with coconut oil on my face. Once I have more variety of essential and carrier oils I’ll try blending with Frankincense just to name one.

    Not to mention, I have yet to add it to foods- which I’m sure will be amazing!
