At Dutch Health Store, we’ve always believed in creating a sense of well-being that goes beyond skincare and health products. This philosophy led us to our latest venture: Dutch Home & Living! This new category is inspired by the simple desire to bring more warmth, togetherness, and coziness into our daily lives. And who better to inspire us on this journey than Renate?
Renate is not just an integral part of our team; she is our in-house expert on all things brocante. As a true enthusiast, Renate has an eye for beauty, quality, and the kind of charm that only the right brocante pieces can add to a space. Her passion for brocante items began long before she joined us at Dutch Health Store. In fact, she once owned her own shop in Steenwijk called Gotcha! where she sold a delightful combination of women’s clothing and carefully curated brocante pieces.
Renate’s love for these unique items has always been more than just a hobby. She has spent countless weekends scouring markets, looking for hidden gems, and attending brocante fairs to stay ahead of the latest trends. Her eye for detail and ability to identify quality pieces have made her an invaluable resource, not only for her customers but also for our team. Every week, she is out and about, exploring the latest in brocante, and bringing back a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to the office.
It was during one of our many conversations with Renate that the idea for Dutch Home & Living truly took shape. We realized that, just as our body and skincare products contribute to a sense of wellness, the spaces we inhabit play a vital role in our overall well-being. A warm, inviting, and thoughtfully decorated home can have a profound impact on our mood and mental health. It’s all about creating an environment where you can truly relax, unwind, and feel at peace.
With Renate’s passion as our guiding light, we decided to launch Dutch Home & Living. This category offers a carefully selected range of decorative materials, flowers, accessories, and seasonal products that bring a sense of well-being to your own surroundings. Whether it’s the perfect vintage vase, a cozy set of cushions, or a beautiful seasonal wreath, we want to help you transform your home into a sanctuary of comfort and beauty.
The addition of Dutch Home & Living is more than just a new product line for us—it’s an extension of our holistic approach to wellness. We believe that a relaxed mind, a healthy body, and healthy skin are all interconnected, and the atmosphere in which you spend your time is a key part of that balance. Our goal is to help you create a space where you can cocoon, relax, and rejuvenate.
We all love to bring a piece of nature into our home. A beautiful bouquet of flowers… some green decorations. Unfortunately, we are finding out more and more that the industry behind all those beautiful products we can get at our local florist is a very polluting industry indeed. Therefore, we are looking for alternatives… products that have the feel of nature…. but that do not pollute enormously while adorning our home for only a few days or weeks. Then you quickly come to artificial flowers, and although in earlier years they were really not beautiful, nowadays they make the most beautiful creations! We have found beautiful green decorations that will look great in our, and your home!
So, we owe a huge thank you to Renate for being the inspiration behind this beautiful new branch of our company. Her knowledge, passion, and unwavering enthusiasm for brocante have shaped Dutch Home & Living into what it is today. We’re proud to introduce this category to you and can’t wait to see how these lovely products will enhance your home and your life.
