Black – Dark Brown – Medium Brown – Light Brown – Red

It should never be used with Blond or Neutral Henna

What to Expect

Mixing Indigo with Morocco Method Henna allows you to create a variety of rich brown shades—simply adjust the ratio. The more Indigo you use, the darker the color.
Used alone on white or gray hair, Indigo may leave a bluish tint. For best results, always pair Indigo with Henna—either as a mix or as a second step after Henna coloring.

What You’ll Need:

Indigo Powder
Glass bowl (no metal)
Wooden or plastic spoon
Gloves
Shower cap or plastic wrap
Warm water, brewed black coffee, or tea
Euro Oil (optional, for skin protection)
Old towels or clothes

How to Mix Indigo Only:

In a non-metal bowl, combine Indigo Powder with warm water until the texture is like thick pudding—not too runny, not too dry.
Let it sit for 15–20 minutes. If it thickens, just add a little water to loosen.
Make sure your hair is clean and dry. Avoid adding oils to the indigo mix—save them for after application.
Put on gloves, section your hair, and apply the mixture from root to tip.
Cover with a shower cap and leave it on for 2–3 hours (1.5–2 hours for facial hair). The longer it stays, the darker the color.
Rinse thoroughly with cool water—no shampoo. Conditioner is okay to help remove excess.
Wait 24–48 hours before shampooing to allow the color to fully develop.

Results may continue to deepen over 48–72 hours. If needed, reapply after 72 hours—especially on stubborn gray hair.

Pro Tips:

Apply Euro Oil around the hairline to prevent staining.
Brewed black coffee can help darken your results.
Add 1–2 tsp of Celtic sea salt for better color payoff.
For gray hair, try 2–3 tsp apple cider vinegar in your mix.
Add a few drops of lavender essential oil to reduce henna/indigo scent.
Wear old clothing to avoid stains.
For best results, use sulfate-free or natural shampoos after coloring.
