(Recipe) Brie Christmas Trees

Serves 8 Christmas trees

A festive bite for your Christmas dinner

Christmas is just around the corner, and that means cozy tables, candlelight, and delicious little bites to share
These Brie Christmas Trees are the perfect festive addition to your Christmas dinner or holiday drinks board. They look joyful, taste rich and creamy, and are surprisingly easy to make. From just one wedge of brie, you can create eight adorable Christmas trees that everyone will love.

We coat them in a crunchy mix of cranberries, parsley, and sugared peanuts for a sweet–savory contrast. Walnuts or pecans work beautifully too if you prefer. Serve them as a starter, a side dish, or as part of a festive cheese board.

Ingredients

For 8 Brie Christmas Trees

  • 1 wedge of brie

  • 40 g honey

  • 8 salty breadsticks

  • 1 handful dried cranberries

  • 1 handful chopped parsley

  • 1 handful sugared peanuts

Instructions

Step 1

Place the sugared peanuts, cranberries, and parsley in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.

Step 2

Cut the brie into four triangles (you may have a little left over). Slice each triangle in half to make eight pieces. Insert a salty breadstick into the wide end of each piece to create a Christmas tree shape.

Step 3

Brush one side of each brie tree with honey. Press the honeyed side into the cranberry mixture, gently helping it stick if needed.
