Our complexions can be, well… complex. Sometimes the standard skincare categories of normal/dry/oily don’t quite cut it when our skin is dry and breakout-prone or oily and dull. That’s where the multi-mask comes in! By blending and layering your masks, you can create a custom treatment with multiple benefits, tailored to your one-of-a-kind skin.
Here are some of our favorite tips and masking mash-ups for you to try…
BEFORE YOU MASK
For best results, apply your multi-mask treatment to freshly cleansed skin. At Leahlani we’re big believers in the double cleanse – one round to remove makeup and impurities and one round to deep clean. A solid double cleanse with a gentle cleanser like Pamplemousse Cleansing Oil primes the skin for maximum absorption and helps your mask work its magic.

The Ritual
Apply Kokoleka to the T-Zone only, and Mermaid Mask to the rest of face.
The Benefits
Kokoleka will draw impurities from deep within the pores, helping throughly cleanse and decongest. Meanwhile, Mermaid Mask will moisturize and nourish dry skin, gently combating bacteria and breakouts while boosting circulation.
The Ritual
Blend one teaspoon of Kalima with a few drops of water to activate the Vitamin C, then add one teaspoon of Meli Glow. Blend well, and apply evenly to the entire face.

The Ritual
After your double cleanse, deeply exfoliate with Honey Love. Spend a good 30 seconds to a minute *gently* massaging Honey Love into the skin, focusing on the areas with the most congestion. Rinse clean. Follow by masking with Kokoleka.

Honey Love removes dead skin cells and excess build-up, creating the perfect canvas for Kokoleka to deeply cleanse and and work its magic. Kokoleka contains mineral-rich clays with humic and fulvic acids that help to purify the complexion while enhancing cellular regeneration – all without overstripping the skin.

The Ritual
Blend together about a ½ teaspoon each of Meli Glow and Mermaid Mask, and massage into the skin until evenly distributed. Let sit for 10-15 mins, before rinsing clean.
