Natural/Organic Ingredients
Baking Soda (Sodium bicarbonate) – Beneficial baking soda is a naturally occurring alkali substance produced by our bodies and also found in the earth in the form of mineral deposits and dissolved in mineral springs. Beyond its green-cleaning capacity to scrub tubs and lift stains from laundry, baking soda also befits the body. Absolutely absorbent, sodium bicarbonate draws excess moisture as it’s excreted from the pits, thwarting less than fragrant smells from collecting in the underarms.
Kaolin Clay (Kaolinite) – Also known as white clay, Kaolin clay is an ancient skin ally. Kaolin is rich in silica and is used to draw toxins from the skin. It is balancing and nourishing for delicate underarms, helping the skin to maintain optimal sebum levels and thus prevent odor and absorb sweat.
Cacao Butter (Theobroma cacao) – Our certified-raw heirloom cacao beans make this ingredient as beneficial as it is delectable. Sweet, buttery cacao infuses every fold of the skin with nourishing lipids.
Arrow Root (Maranta arundinacea) – Arrow root powder is made from the rhizomes of this tropical plant, it creates soft, smooth, silky underarms that are positively charming.
Myrrh Essential Oil (Commiphora myrrha) – Magnificent myrrh anoints your underarm with sacred charm. This healing, nourishing sap has been used for thousands of years to purify and sanctify. Rosemary Verbenone Essential Oil (Rosmarinus officinalis verbenone) – Known as the “rose of the sea,” this genus of rosemary is gentler than regular rosemary. Its herbaceous, uplifting aroma revitalizes the skin and the spirit. Rosemary verbenone refreshingly charms underarms.
Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil (Backhousia citriodora) – Zesty, zingy lemon myrtle essential oil is lemonier than lemon. Also known as Lemon Ironwood and Sweet Verbena Tree, the leaves and young branches of the lemon myrtle tree are steam distilled in Australia. A little goes a long way with this cheerful, clarifying oil which is splendid for clearing stagnant air, sedentary energy and sluggish skin. Beyond its uplifting cheer, it contains serious amounts of citral (95%!) along with neral and geranial, making it magnificent at expelling underarm odors.
