Baking Soda (Sodium bicarbonate) – Beneficial baking soda is a naturally occurring alkali substance produced by our bodies and also found in the earth in the form of mineral deposits and dissolved in mineral springs. I REALLY LOVE THIS DEODORANT
I really like this deodorant. I was nervous about trying this but my under arms where the only part of my body left that i was still using unnatural products so i thought i would give it a try. I really do like it. The 6ml has lasted me a few months as the smell does last all day. I exercise quite a lot so i did reapply more of this product on the days that included a lot of physical activity but i really didn’t need to use more as my under arms still smelt fresh and clean. With conventional deodorant i was having to spray every few hours because the scent would die off and i would feel paranoid but with this deodorant the scent really does last all day long and your your armpits are still lovely and fresh the next morning.The scent for me is just a perfect balance between masculine and feminine. As a male i don’t really like super masculine fragrances and when i purchased this i worried that it would be to ‘manly’ for me as i prefer fresh and fruity scents but once this was applied it was just the perfect scent for me. The smell is very grounding and relaxing but still very fresh. I have asthma and the best thing about this deodorant is that instead of making me run for my inhaler it actually helps to relax my breathing and open my airways. I cant wait to try the other scents.

A PRODUCT I CAN USE FOR LIFE!
In order for you to fully grasp what this product means to me, you must first understand my journey with natural deodorants… Ever since I started to learn about the long list of toxic chemicals that come together to make anti-antiperspirants & typical deodorants, I have been searching for that one special product that can check off all the boxes. When I’m looking for a deodorant, I need 3 things; zero chemicals, a product that is strong enough to keep my pits smelling fresh and clean, and something that feels comfortable on my skin. After literally working my way though the entire body section of every health conscious retailer and trying out all of their deodorant options, I was left very disappointed in the products on the market. My next great idea was to take matters into my own hands and create some of my own homemade deodorants- I scoured the internet for various recipes and eventually made several to put to the test. Most of them worked for a couple of hours and then wore off or simply had zero effect against my athletic lifestyle- I even made one batch with beeswax that felt like my arms were glued together every time I applied it. Another blend I made gave me a bright red rash because of the baking soda. Then one beautiful day in California I stumbled upon ‘Living Libations’ – when my tiny little 6.5mL jar of Maverick Underarm Charm Creme Deodorant arrived I was perplexed as I figured it would last me 1 or 2 days… I decided to follow the directions and add a ‘swipe’ to my pits, immediately I could tell that a simple, yet powerful scent was dispersed to my underarms & the texture was gentle, not sticky or oily. That night I was scheduled for a 75 minute radiant hot yoga class, if there ever was a true test for a deodorant- this was it. I was either going to have finally found a legitimate deodorant option or some very unhappy yogi’s in my class. 75 minutes of 110 degree (43 C) heat and several challenging poses, I was leaking sweat like I just gotten out of a pool- yet still I was smelling as good as I did before I stepped foot into the studio. I’ve been using the deodorant for weeks now and I can honestly say that my search has finally ended & I’ve found a product I can use for life! I highly recommend everyone to ditch their chemical laden anti-perspirants and deodorants for Living Libations underarm charm creme deodorants- your armpits and body will thank you!

I purchased this one for my hubby after trying Copal musk and Rose Glow for myself, so far so good and the smell is oh so lovely, I think because of the vetiver, I love to smell it on him!
