This superfatted formula is enriched with nourishing oils and butters. It also features mineral-rich seaweeds, aged linden blossom honey, coastal Labrador tea, and heirloom marshmallow root. Each ingredient is carefully selected for its purity, nutrient value, and natural harmony with the skin.

At the centre of this formula is a rare, raw linden blossom honey. Harvested in limited quantity and aged especially for this project, it remains unpasteurized and naturally rich in potassium, magnesium, zinc, enzymes, amino acids, and antioxidants. This honey works as a natural humectant, drawing moisture into the skin while helping to support the skin’s microbiome and vitality.

Mineral seaweeds are hand-gathered from the cold coastal tides of Nova Scotia. They provide essential trace elements such as iodine, calcium, iron, and silica, along with sulfated polysaccharides that help strengthen the skin barrier and restore hydration. Their marine nutrients help calm stressed skin and maintain mineral balance.

Coastal Labrador tea, sustainably foraged from Newfoundland’s marshlands, offers a powerful antioxidant profile. Rich in arbutin, tannins, and flavonoids, it has long been valued in northern herbal traditions. It helps defend against oxidative stress, calm reactive skin, and promote a more even-looking complexion.

Heirloom marshmallow root is gently stone-ground to preserve its full mucilage content. These soothing polysaccharides form a light, breathable layer on the skin that helps reduce moisture loss and ease visible irritation. Its natural flavonoids also support skin renewal.

Each bar is carefully wrapped by hand in archival paper to protect the integrity of this small-batch creation.

Aged Linden Blossom Honey Reserve (Tilia cordata)

A rare, mineral-rich raw honey aged exclusively for this formula. It contains potassium, magnesium, zinc, amino acids, and active enzymes that nourish and deeply hydrate the skin. This natural humectant helps strengthen the microbiome and supports a healthy, radiant complexion.

Mineral Seaweeds (Chondrus crispus & Palmaria palmata)

Cold-water Irish moss and dulse provide iodine, calcium, iron, silica, and valuable trace minerals. Their polysaccharides help reinforce the skin barrier, balance hydration, and soothe inflammation while delivering marine-based nourishment.

Coastal Labrador Tea (Ledum groenlandicum)

Wild-harvested in Newfoundland, this evergreen leaf contains polyphenols, arbutin, tannins, and flavonoids. It acts as a strong antioxidant that helps reduce oxidative stress, calm sensitivity, and promote brighter, more even-looking skin.

Heirloom Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis)

Biodynamic Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides)

Grown along the Atlantic coast by a biodynamic cultivator, this vibrant berry is rich in omega-3, 6, 7, and 9 fatty acids, carotenoids, tocopherols, and vitamin C. It strengthens the skin barrier, supports repair, restores elasticity, and helps protect against oxidative stress.

Fermented Honeybalm (Melissa officinalis)

Harvested from a stone cottage garden and gently fermented to enhance bioavailability, this lemon-scented leaf contains rosmarinic acid, triterpenes, and polyphenols. Fermentation increases its enzymatic activity, helping to calm reactive skin, support barrier balance, and encourage gentle renewal.

The Ritual

Lather the bar between wet palms and massage gently onto the skin. Allow the rich crème lather to rest briefly before rinsing, giving the botanicals time to hydrate and nourish. Follow with a hydrating essence and serum to complete your ritual.

Labrador Leaf Reserve can be used as a nourishing facial and body cleanser or as a gentle shaving bar. The creamy lather cushions the skin with seaweeds, marshmallow mucilage, and aged honey, cleansing thoroughly without stripping. Skin feels calm, soft, and strengthened after use.

Use within 12 months of opening. Store in a cool, dry and dark location.
