This 100% natural formula uses chamomile and marigold flowers to gently brighten your hair and blend gray roots for a radiant, refreshed look.

Please note: This light blonde henna will not lighten dark hair but can enhance natural highlights and cover grays. Morocco Method offers premium, chemical-free plant-based hair color using only the finest natural ingredients.

Our henna dyes are 100% free of harsh chemicals, metals, parabens, and toxins—making them safe and gentle for both hair and scalp. Every shade deeply conditions while coloring and is a nourishing alternative to synthetic dyes. These blends are also safe for covering grays and can be used on beards and mustaches.

One packet is enough for a full application on shoulder-length hair.

We strongly recommend performing a strand or patch test before applying henna to the head to ensure the desired color is achieved, especially because henna cannot be safely bleached or highlighted.
Some grey or previously damaged hair may also be a bit resistant to the dye (this will result in a brassy orange color) and may require a priming application / second application on virgin hair, and it’s best to be aware of that and have the supplies available ahead of time.

How to Mix & Apply Light Blonde Henna

What You’ll Need:
• Glass or wooden mixing bowl
• Wooden mixing spoon
• Measuring spoon or cup
• Gloves (vinyl or rubber)
• Plastic wrap or shower cap
• Optional: Fabric cap (beanie or similar)

Ingredients:
• 1 Light Blonde Henna Kit (1 bag Blonde Henna powder, 1 bag Blonde Tea)
• 3 cups filtered water
• 2–8 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• Optional: 1–3 teaspoons Euro Oil

Instructions:

Boil 3 cups of water and steep the Blonde Tea for 15–30 minutes. Strain out the flowers and let the tea cool.

Add the Blonde Henna powder to your bowl. Mix in the lemon juice—more juice creates stronger results, but may also dry the hair slightly.

Slowly add the cooled Blonde Tea until the paste reaches a yogurt-like texture: thick, smooth, and spreadable without dripping.

Mix in Euro Oil if using. Add more if you used a lot of lemon juice, but do not exceed 3 teaspoons to avoid weakening the color.

Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap, removing extra air. Let the paste sit for 8–12 hours. In cooler environments or with high lemon juice content, let it rest the full 12 hours.

Section clean, dry (or towel-dried) hair. Drape a towel around your shoulders and apply Euro Oil to your hairline and ears to prevent staining. Wearing gloves, apply the henna paste evenly from roots to ends.

Cover your hair with plastic wrap or a shower cap. To retain heat, wear a fabric cap on top. Keeping the paste warm and moist ensures best results.

Leave the mixture on for 1–4 hours, depending on how deep you want the color. Do not leave it overnight.

Rinse thoroughly with water only. Use a drain catcher. Add Pearl Essence Crème Rinse or a few drops of Euro Oil if needed, especially after using lemon juice.

Use the Eco Friendly Wheat Straw Scalp Massager to help rinse out the paste. Avoid shampooing for 24 hours. The full color will develop over 72 hours and typically lasts 6–8 weeks.

Important Information About Chemical Hair Dyes

Our Light Blonde Henna Hair Dye is made from 100% pure plant ingredients—no PPD, metallic salts, or chemical additives. It’s one of the safest ways to color your hair, with added conditioning benefits. You can apply henna to previously dyed hair, but we recommend waiting 6–8 weeks after your last chemical treatment for best results.

If you decide to return to chemical dyes after using henna, also wait 6–8 weeks for the color to naturally fade. While Morocco Method henna won’t damage your hair like chemically adulterated henna, combining plant dyes with chemical dyes can lead to unpredictable results. Henna (especially Light Blonde, which uses Cassia obovata) binds deeply to your hair, making it harder for chemical dyes to lift or lighten.

Warning: Trying to go lighter with box dyes after using henna can lead to damage or unwanted color tones (like green, due to indigo). Removing henna or indigo requires strong chemicals that may leave your hair too damaged for future coloring. You can, however, safely dye your hair the same color or darker.
