Frankincense Fresh Floss

Frankincense Fresh Floss is a gentle, shred-free, all-purpose floss for people with tight spaces, wide spaces, and even people with braces. Its silky softness is easy on gums, tongues, and fingers.

The floss is 100% mulberry silk thread, the finest of all silks available. Silkworms fed on mulberry leaves produce long, refined, pure white fibers that are spun into durable, glossy threads. Each thread is coated in organic Candelilla wax so the floss glides into even the tightest of inter-dental spaces. The wax is infused with our organic Frankincense essential oil with a dash of Peppermint for perfect freshness.

Frankincense essential oil has been used throughout the Middle Eastern to support clean teeth and fresh breath for thousands of years. There is an oral history of people chewing on frankincense tree resin or “pearls” for dental care. This botanical-biotic rich in monoterpenes assists with removing plaque and eliminates bad breath causing bacteria.

How to use:

After brushing, apply one drop of your favorite oral care serum along the floss, wrap approximately 18 inches (45 cm) of floss around fingers, and draw tight. Slide floss between teeth, curve it around a tooth, and clean between tooth and gum with gentle up and down motions. Repeat between each tooth using a clean section of floss.

Natural Mulberry Silk, Candelilla Wax, Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) Essential Oil, and Peppermint (Mentha piperita) Essential Oil.

Candelilla Wax (Euphorbia antisyphilitica ) – This pure plant wax is harvested from the stems of the desert Candelilla shrub. The plant parts are boiled in water and the wax is skimmed off the top and bottled before coating the silk floss.

Frankincense Essential Oil (Boswellia carterii) – A liquid pearl of holy anointing oil from the tree of life, our Frankincense comes from Somaliland where they grow the highest quality of gum trees. This precious essence has been used to support clean teeth and fresh breath for thousands of years in Middle Eastern areas. It is common for Arabian people to chew the resin. They know of its ability to eliminate bad breath causing bacteria and assist with removing plaque.

Peppermint Essential Oil  (Mentha piperita) – Peppermint’s cool breezy taste gives you long-lasting fresh breath. Our Peppermint is a genuine distillation of the fresh leaves and comes from a lovely fourth generation family of distillers in France. Real Peppermint is a potent and pleasant friend for oral care. Its calm and cool nature also inhibits the bacteria that cause bad breath.
