How to Use Amla with Henna Hair Dye

For Red or Light Blonde Henna:
• Mix 2.5 tbsp Amla with one full packet of Red or Light Blonde Henna
• Add warm water (no tea, lemon juice, or ACV) until you get a yogurt-like paste
• Let the mixture sit for 8–12 hours before applying

For Brown Henna:
• Light Brown: 2 tbsp Amla
• Medium Brown: 1.5 tbsp Amla
• Dark Brown: 1 tbsp Amla

Mix Amla directly into your brown henna powder and add warm water. Let sit 8–12 hours. Apply henna first, then follow with Indigo as directed.

Important: Never mix Amla directly with Indigo—it will block dye release.

For Black Henna:
• Mix 2.5 tbsp Amla into the Black Henna powder
• Add warm water and mix to yogurt consistency
• Let it sit for 8–12 hours, then use as per Black Henna instructions

Amla as a Hair Treatment & Curl Restorer

• Mix Amla with warm water until smooth and creamy
• Let it sit for 15–30 minutes
• Apply to clean, dry hair and leave on for 30 minutes

• Rinse thoroughly—no shampoo needed

Amla as a Facial Mask

• Mix with warm water into a thick paste
