Living Libations

Living Libations products contain only organic and natural ingredients. With a variety of solutions, there are solutions for every skin type.

Nadine Artemis founded Living Libations in 2008.

A few plants, known as "absolute" plants, require a certain kind of extraction in order to release the aromatic molecules from the cellulose of the plant. Following distillation, the solvent is successfully eliminated. All libations are gluten-free. Our milky oats, also known as oat straw (Avena sativa), are gluten-free and made from a herbal infusion of the oat plant's green, immature stem or straw; the seeds, which form the cereal grain, are not included in the infusion.

As naturally as we can, our creations at Living Libations are as raw as possible.
Due to the fact that essential oils are made by steam distilling plant material, there is no such thing as a raw essential oil. For the best quality, our essential oils are created using a lengthy, slow distillation at the lowest temperature feasible.
Our whole line of fatty oils is cold-pressed and never cooked.

Almost all Libations are vegan.
A select product, such as the lip glosses and balms, scent balms, Maidenfern Blushing Balm, and Jai Baby Balm, use beeswax that has been ethically harvested and produced. The vitamin D in Sundew Transdermal Vitamin D Crème comes from lanolin, which is a natural substance found on the wool of woolly animals like sheep.

Washing the face with pure pressed plant oils is an ancient Ayurvedic and gracious gypsy method to cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin. Nadine designed the Best Skin Evers to be your finest bathing and beauty aide. These oils plus water and a cloth are the simple essentials to cleanse, exfoliate, moisten and bedew.

Directions: Washing/Cleansing your Face with Best Skin Ever™

1. Wet a small portion of a cloth with water.
2. Apply one to two squirts of any of the Best Skin Evers (Seabuckthorn, Sandalwood, Rose, Frankincense, or Neroli), to the dampened portion of the face cloth.
3. Gently massage the face, neck and back of the neck with the moistened cloth. Wash gently or wash vigorously for a deeper exfoliating effect. Rinsing the face is optional.

If more moisture is needed, add another squirt or two of any of our Best Skin Evers or Libations Serums (Rose Glow Serum, SoothSayer Serum, Royal Rose CoQ10 Serum, Sandalwood Serum Supreme, Chocolate Karat Serum, or Open Sky Eye Serum) to your fingertips and massage into the face and neck. If your skin feels extra thirsty, a Libations Crème (SunDew Vitamin D Crème, Rose Glow Face Creme, All Seeing Eye Creme, or Maverick Face Creme) will satisfy.

You can also add a drop or two of any of the Serums to a dab of any of the Crèmes. They all blend beautifully together.

Directions: Using Best Skin Ever™ on your Body after a Bath or Shower

1. Leave the body wet after a bath or shower.
2. Wet a washcloth with water. Squeeze it out.
3. Apply a few squirts onto the wet washcloth of any of the Best Skin Evers.
4. Massage the entire body with the cloth, head to toe. Rub more vigorously to exfoliate
