Discovering the Power of Honey with BlueM®

BlueM

BlueM is an innovative oral care brand with a unique approach to dental health. Developed by a team of implantologists, oral surgeons, and dentists, BlueM harnesses the natural healing power of oxygen to optimize oral health. The brand believes that a healthy mouth is not only crucial for an overall healthy body but also improves the quality of life.

BlueM stands out for its commitment to natural ingredients. The brand uses active oxygen in its products, which promotes healing and combats harmful bacteria that can lead to gum disease and other oral health issues. One of the key ingredients in BlueM products is honey, which is transformed into hydrogen peroxide upon contact with saliva, contributing to the overall oral health.

Now, let’s focus on the two highlighted products:

  1. BlueM Toothpaste Fluoride-Free: This toothpaste is designed for those who want a natural, fluoride-free alternative for their oral care routine. Despite being fluoride-free, it doesn’t compromise on its ability to effectively clean teeth and maintain a healthy mouth. The toothpaste employs the power of active oxygen to kill harmful bacteria in the mouth, ensuring fresh breath and aiding gum health. It also features a unique formula that neutralizes harmful acids, preventing the damage that can lead to sensitive teeth. Plus, the inclusion of honey aids in the overall health of your mouth.

  2. BlueM Oral Foam On The Go: This is the perfect product for on-the-go oral hygiene. The oral foam offers an easy and efficient way to clean your teeth without the need for water or a toothbrush. It’s an ideal choice for situations when you can’t brush your teeth in the traditional way, such as during travel or after lunch at work. Like the toothpaste, this foam uses active oxygen to kill harmful bacteria and honey for its transformative health benefits. Additionally, the foam also contains xylitol and lactoferrin, making it a powerful oral hygiene companion that ensures your mouth stays fresh and healthy, wherever you are.

Those familiar with the innovative oral care brand BlueM® know the buzz about honey. This natural sweetener serves as a pivotal active ingredient in their range. Initially, honey’s inclusion might raise eyebrows, given that it’s synonymous with sugar. However, BlueM® harnesses honey’s unique property of transforming into hydrogen peroxide upon contact with saliva, an intriguing phenomenon known as the glucose oxidase process.

With this process, the glucose in honey is fully converted, leaving no scope for tooth decay. The oxygen released in the process is the real game-changer, enriching BlueM®’s products. Honey’s role in promoting oral health is evident, but its versatile utility stretches beyond this domain. Did you know honey is a key player in a range of other products?

Honey Bath Oil/Shower Gel

Aware of honey’s benefits as a facemask? Now, discover its magic as a bath oil. For silky smooth skin, dissolve two tablespoons of honey in a hot bath. If you’re a shower person, apply honey from head to toe pre-shower. Fifteen minutes in, you’ll find your skin has absorbed all the goodness honey offers.

Honey Scrub

Put a spin on your skincare routine with a homemade honey scrub. Blend two tablespoons each of honey and sea salt. The honey nourishes your skin while sea salt helps exfoliate dead skin cells. This dynamic duo makes for a perfect combination!

Honey Facemask

A stroll down the facial masks aisle will likely lead you to honey-infused products. This isn’t surprising given honey’s high amino acids, enzymes, and antioxidants content that nourish skin cells and regulate skin moisture. Moreover, honey aids skin cell recovery and possesses rejuvenating and antibacterial qualities. Experience this natural luxury by applying a tablespoon of honey on your clean, dry face. Leave on for 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water for a refreshed complexion.

Honey Hair Highlighter

Ever considered a natural hair lightener? Try a honey hair mask. As explained earlier, honey reacts with moisture to create hydrogen peroxide, a known hair lightening agent. For a subtle sun-kissed look, combine three tablespoons of honey with a tablespoon of water. Massage this mix into your clean, damp hair, rinse after an hour, and repeat this process over a few weeks for a naturally highlighted look.

Honey Cookies

Stepping away from skincare, we introduce honey cookies. These aren’t necessarily health food, but they are a healthier alternative, using honey’s natural sugars for sweetening and passing on its nutritional benefits. Here’s how to make them:

Ingredients:

  • 200g sifted flour
  • 10g sifted corn starch
  • 50g butter
  • 90g honey
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160⁰C.
  2. Blend the egg yolk, butter, and honey. Knead this mix with the sifted flour and corn starch until the dough is smooth.
  3. Roll out the dough to approximately half a centimetre thick. For a honeycomb pattern, roll it further onto bubble wrap until it’s about 2 millimetres thick.
  4. Use cookie mould(s) to shape the dough, then bake for 15 minutes or until they turn a light golden brown.

Exploring honey’s diverse uses, it’s evident why BlueM® highlights it as a superstar ingredient. From oral health to skincare and even baking, honey is a sweet deal indeed.
