(Recipe) Strawberry & Mint Infused Water

A simple, refreshing summer drink that’s perfect for warm afternoons, garden gatherings, or simply keeping hydrated throughout the day.

Ingredients

• 1 litre filtered water
• 8–10 fresh strawberries, sliced
• A handful of fresh mint leaves
• ½ lemon, sliced (optional)
• Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Gently rinse the strawberries and mint.
  2. Slice the strawberries and place them in a large glass pitcher.
  3. Lightly crush the mint leaves between your fingers to release their natural oils and add them to the pitcher.
  4. Add the lemon slices, if using.
  5. Fill the pitcher with cold filtered water.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavours to infuse.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with a few extra mint leaves and strawberry slices.
Tip

For an extra refreshing twist, freeze a few strawberry slices and mint leaves into ice cubes before serving.

Makes approximately 1 litre.
