Our Story

Sunwarrior's story begins with a personal transformation. Founder Denley Fowlke's own health struggles led him on a path of dietary exploration. He discovered the power of a plant-based lifestyle and the lack of clean, high-quality protein options on the market. This realization, coupled with the desire to help his twin daughters facing a life-threatening illness, fueled his passion to create something better.

Sunwarrior was born in 2008, a collaborative effort between Denley and two like-minded individuals. Their vision was to develop a brand that offered delicious, raw, and vegan protein powders suitable for anyone seeking a healthy and sustainable dietary approach. They prioritized complete amino acid profiles, clean ingredients, and a commitment to environmental responsibility. From that Arizona desert start, Sunwarrior has blossomed into a global brand, providing a diverse range of plant-based protein powders, supergreens, and mineral supplements, all designed to nourish and transform bodies and minds.

Do Sunwarrior products contain any gluten or wheat ingredients?

Sunwarrior takes great care to cater to the needs of individuals with gluten sensitivities. While wheatgrass is derived from wheat, the wheatgrass in Sunwarrior's Ormus Supergreens and Beauty Greens Collagen Booster is harvested at a young stage before it germinates, which means it does not contain gluten. These products are considered safe for those with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. However, for customers with a wheat allergy, we recommend avoiding these specific products. As with any dietary concerns, it's always best to consult with a healthcare provider to determine what is safe for your personal consumption.

What is the best Sunwarrior protein for muscle recovery?

Sunwarrior's Active Protein is specifically formulated for athletic performance and recovery, with 30g of protein and 6g BCAAs per serving, along with added minerals and probiotics.
