Prickly Pear Carrier Oil
€30,00 – €47,00

Only a few days ago I wrote a review for a Living Libations essential oil (Yarrow) where I stated that I never write reviews. Now, this is now old news and I have changed on the subject! And the game changer is this wonderful carrier oil, the magical Prickly Pear.
I will explain;
For two months now I have been suffering from a strange skin condition caused by a mystical allergic reaction. I do have dry and very sensitive skin, that seem to react to outside stressors (and probably inside ones too) more frequently with time.
I do not wear any make up (can’t) and I treat my skin very well. (Making my own skin serums amongst other things) Never the less I am now unfortunately deeply bothered by this very painful rash that pops up every other day or so. (I have detoxed and I am on a diet to give my whole system some rest)
A couple of years ago I bought an organic prickly pear oil from a well known seller in the UK. But when I tried it out, my skin reacted in a bad way. So I eventually tossed the whole bottle away.
I have since had extremely good experience with several of Living Libations carrier oils (my favorites!) and last fall I bought a bottle of their prickly pear oil that I wanted to try a small amount of in a balm I am making. Now, I was obviously apprehensive about this since I had had such a bad experience with the same type of oil earlier. But all went well and I did not react to the balm. Then the other day in a desperate moment struggling with the pain of my rash, I did something outrageous and tried some of LL ‘s Prickly Pear oil neat on my face. I didn’t know what to expect, thinking I might have done something really, really stupid. But instead of reacting in a negative way, my skin sucked the oil up – and calmed down!! Incredible. I could not quite believe it. My skin was simply loving it.
I ended up finishing the little I had left of the bottle, and ordered a new one from Wilma. Being without the oil for a few days made my skin worse again. And now with the newly received bottle, my skin calms down when I apply the oil.
I have tried so many different things, but this is the only thing that seems to really help!
So, I can’t say enough good things about this oil. From one thinking I could not handle Prickly Pear at all to absolutely loving Living Libations’, I am utterly thankful to LL’s high quality and pureness. Yeah!
So, I thought this could be a good thing for others to know too – that Living Libations’ Prickly Pear oil is not like everybody else’s, it is simply divine!! (And to me god-sent)

This is such a great oil. I use this mixed with some jojoba as a base in my DIY serum. It’s very nourishing but also lightweight. It makes my skin feel super smooth, firm and soft. Really helps keep my skin hydrated and it is great to use after sun bathing to nourish skin.
