Gekleurd haar
Net als een stralende huid is ook stralend haar bedekt met natuurlijke oliën die elke streng beschermen en het haar elastisch, glad en glanzend houden. De hoofdhuid produceert deze oliën in precies de juiste hoeveelheid om het haar gesmeerd te houden. Synthetische haarproducten, zelfs die voor behandeld en gekleurd haar, verwijderen deze oliën, irriteren de hoofdhuid en beschadigen de haarzakjes. Sommige van de agressieve chemicaliën in deze producten, zoals natriumlaurylsulfaat en oleyl betaïne, kunnen ervoor zorgen dat de haarkleur snel vervaagt. In plaats van de volle, glanzende, gladde lokken die op de fles worden beloofd, is het resultaat vaak dof, vervaagd en levenloos haar.
Onze shampoos zijn geweldig voor gekleurd haar. Gezond uitziend haar vormt de basis voor dimensionale kleur en glanzende lokken. Gebruik de dag of nacht voordat je van plan bent kleur aan te brengen ons super hydraterende, hemelse Honey Myrtle Hair Conditioning Mask of slaap met Shine On of True Blue Spirulina Conditioners in je haar gedurende de nacht. Dit zal het haar voorbereiden en de weg vrijmaken voor een stralende kleur erna. Dikke strengen haar grijpen zich vast aan de kleurstof en houden de kleur langer vast zonder te vervagen. Een paar dagen na het kleuren van je haar kun je alle haarproducten overslaan om de verf ruim de tijd te geven om uit te harden.
Gebruiksaanwijzing
Geschikt voor alle haartypes, inclusief kinderhaar en gekleurd haar. Maak het haar nat en masseer het in het haar en de hoofdhuid. Het kan dagelijks worden gebruikt, maar wij geven er de voorkeur aan het haar slechts eenmaal per week te wassen, indien mogelijk. Het beste wanneer gevolgd met True Blue Spirulina Conditioner.
Natuurlijke/Biologische Ingrediënten
Coco-eiwitolie (Cocos nucifera) – Coco-eiwit en yucca zijn de verzeepaars die onze Seabuckthorn Shampoo zijn zuiver natuurlijke, plantaardige schuim geven. Coco-eiwit is afgeleid van de suikers, eiwitten en vetzuren van biologische, maagdelijke kokosolie. Coco-eiwit is een niet-ionische verzeper waarvan is getest dat hij geen erkende bijwerkingen heeft. Het wordt niet aangetroffen in menselijk weefsel of urine en is vrij van ethyleenoxide (dat nitrosaminebesmetting kan veroorzaken) en ook vrij van conserveermiddelen. Het heeft een uitstekende dermatologische compatibiliteit en heeft ook een lage impact op het milieu, aangezien het zeer biologisch afbreekbaar is. Coco-eiwit is niet verwant aan sulfaten of sulfiden, die best vermeden worden.
Aloë Vera Olie (Aloë barbadensis) – Aloë is een botanisch juweeltje uit de woestijn dat zorgt voor een goede vochtbalans en gezond haar bevordert. Het wordt zo gemakkelijk in het haar en de huid opgenomen en harmoniseert vet haar en hydrateert droog haar. Het maakt de haarschubben glad en creëert een onzichtbaar laagje op het oppervlak van elke haarstreng, waardoor vocht en voedingsstoffen worden vastgehouden.
Yucca-olie (Yucca elata) – Yucca, ook bekend als zeepboom, is een inheemse plant in het Amerikaanse zuidwesten. De wortels van deze bomen zijn zeer rijk aan saponinen en werden traditioneel door Indianen gebruikt als natuurlijke zeep voor lichaam en was. Deze saponinen van de yucca-wortel zijn een zeepvormend ingrediënt, dat het schuim in onze shampoo bevordert. Deze speciale wortel heeft ook verzachtende eigenschappen die een verzachtende werking hebben op de haarschacht.
Blaaswierolie ( Fucus vesiculosus) – Dit sappige zeewier is van nature slijmoplossend en werkt zowel stimulerend als versterkend voor het haar. Mensen uit streken die veel zeewier eten hebben dik, mooi haar! Blaaswier voedt de wortels en de schacht van het haar. Het houdt vocht vast in de haarlokken om baby haartjes en pluizen te verminderen.
Spirulina-olie (Arthrospira platensis) – Spirulina is een eiwitrijke alg die wordt gebruikt om het haar meer volume te geven en droge schilfers te verwijderen. Deze plant, boordevol botanische schatten, kan de hoofdhuid en het haar in balans brengen.
Haverstroopolie (Avena sativa) – Haverstroop geeft het haar meer body en volheid, en maakt knopen en klitten glad. Haverstroop is glutenvrij.
Blauwe viooltjesolie (Tanacetum annuum) – Blauwe viooltjes zitten boordevol azuleen en sesquiterpenen om je hoofdhuid en manen te kalmeren, af te koelen en te temmen. Het heeft een heerlijk zoet kruidachtig aroma en bevordert de ontspanning en verzacht de droge, rode huid of de huid die is blootgesteld aan omgevingselementen. Deze weldadige blauwe droom brengt rust in je haarverzorgingsroutine.
Duizendbladolie (Achillea millefolium) – Duizendblad is bijzonder geschikt om de olieproductie van de huid in evenwicht te brengen, vooral bij een vette huid. Het bevat veel koele, blauwe azuleen om de hoofdhuid te kalmeren.
Duitse kamilleolie (Matricaria chamomilla) – Geliefde blauwe kamille-essence wordt gedestilleerd uit bloemen van de madeliefjesfamilie en geoogst in de vroege ochtenduren voor het krachtigste extract. Grote hoeveelheden chamazuleen geven dit distillaat een diep oceaanblauwe kleur, en de meeslepende verkoelende en kalmerende zegeningen zijn bijzonder geschikt voor huid- en haarverzorging. Met zijn inktblauwe tint bevat Duitse kamille bestanddelen van sesquiterpenen (azuleen) en sesquiterpenolen (a-bisabolol), waardoor deze olie een weelderig aanbod is om ons lichaam te verfraaien.
Wierookolie (Boswellia carterii) – Heilige wierook is prachtig balsamico van aard, waardoor het de ongeëvenaarde kracht heeft om littekens, fijne lijntjes en wallen te vervagen. In haarverzorging versterkt wierook de haarstrengen en hoofdhuid.
Bloedsinaasappelolie (Citrus aurantium) – Bloedsinaasappelolie is een tonicum voor de haarwortels en de hoofdhuid, en de opwekkende geur is altijd inspirerend.
Vetiverolie (Vetiveria zizanioides) – Rijke, aardse vetiverolie is aardend en kalmerend voor de huid, en zalft de wortels van elke haarlok zoals de regen het gras zalft. Vetiver is een bevochtigingsmiddel dat huid en haar helpt vocht vast te houden.
Citroenolie (Citrus limon) – Weelderige citroen zuivert de huid van top tot teen. Het is een heerlijke all-over haar tonic; het zou het haar versterken en de glans verhogen. Het aroma is opbeurend, verkwikkend.
Lavendelolie (Lavendula angustifolia) – Lavendel brengt de bekende kalmerende geur in de mix en kalmeert de huid en hoofdhuid. De voordelen van lavendelolie in haarverzorging zijn eindeloos. Deze olie wordt traditioneel gebruikt om de droge hoofdhuid te verlichten, het haar te verzorgen, de dikte van het haar te bevorderen, en nog veel meer.
Bergamotolie (Citrus bergamia) – Mooie bergamot is een zonnige citrusolie die een tonicum is voor haar en hoofdhuid. Het aroma straalt het hele jaar door vrolijkheid uit.
Salie + Rozemarijnolie (Salvia officinalis + Rosmarinus officinalis) – Deze krachtige en zuivere nectar bevat honderden plantaardige bio-actieve stoffen en antioxidanten die de levensduur van deze shampoo verlengen door het oxidatieproces te vertragen. Het zit boordevol overtuigende bestanddelen die de haarstrengen en hoofdhuid dienen.

Keeping my locks in check
I have fine hair (not thin) that is damaged from the ocean and sun. This by far is my favourite shampoo ever. It brings back slip into my hair without the usage of silicones, and smells like the ocean itself! I’m almost out of the 120ml bottle and will definitely restock in this product. Lasted me nearly 1 year washing my hair 2-3 times/week.

Best Organic Shampoo Ever!
I’ve recently started using Living Libations and I’m absolutely obsessed with everything they create! I love that these products work 100 times better then regular store bought products and contain no harmful ingredients. These products are made completely with all natural and nourishing ingredients that make your skin and hair feel wonderful! As for the True Blue Spirulina Shampoo, it’s an absolute miracle worker! It’s definitely the first all natural shampoo I’ve tried that hasn’t made my hair feel greasy and weighed down. My hair has never been so clean, shiny and full of life! SO WORTH IT!

My recent experience with shampoo is like the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. Before I bought this one, I was oscillating between two different shampoos due to the texture/effect they produced on my hair. The first one was drying, the second was too oily but this one was just right.

I invested in a large bottle of @livinglibations’ True Blue Spirulina Shampoo which I absolutely love. I often get asked which shampoo I use and recommend. After having tried so many natural and chemical-free products, for my hair this one simply works best. The smell is divine and I also love their True Blue conditioner.
At first glance, this one-litre bottle seems to come with a bit of a price tag, but it will last me at least 1.5 years and probably longer, even though my hair reaches down to my bum now. I don’t wash it every day and with this product, a little goes a long way.
Also, after True Blue, I don’t always need a conditioner, even though my hair is very long. So it basically saves me lots of time plus having to buy other hair care products all the time.
I remember back in the day when I used to use conventional hair care, I would easily use up to 4 or 5 products at the same time (shampoo, conditioner or mask, shine serum, foam and hair spray…). Today my routine consists of only a high-quality shampoo, the Living Libations conditioner every once in a while and a home-made oil pack with essential oil occasionally. Simpler is often better.
I developed a chemical sensitivity several years ago and was getting into healthier alterntavies anyway so most conventional skin care and drug store items just weren’t an option for me anymore.
It took me a long time and lots of trial and error to find amazing products, so if you are looking for better options, I hope this gives you some inspiration.

I do like this shampoo, and it feels nice on mat hair coupled with the conditioner. It has a pleasant scent that is fruity, almost like a smoothie, but personally, the smell is not for me. I find it a bit too sweet. I also have not experienced any miracles on my hair with this shampoo, but I love Living Libations and I love products that are as high-quality and nourishing as this one! I do not plan to repurchase, but I will definitely try the seabuckthorn shampoo!

I love this shampoo and I am happy that I gave it a second try. I ordered the Seabuckthorn one about a year ago and although I liked the smell a lot my hair didn’t like the shampoo. Because this seemed better for my hair based on the description I purchased a small bottle to try and with the first wash this is amazing. It smells different and more sweet (light smell) but for me that’s fine as long as my hair looks good which it does. My scalp feels refreshed and great and my hair is soft and does not tangle at all. Will purchase a bigger bottle when this one runs out ?
I got it without the conditioner since I still use up a different one but I mostly go without one because my lengths are healthy and not colored. So from my experience try both because they were really different on my hair.

No words to describe this shampoo. A little goes a long way, the smell is simply divine and it glides on hair leaving them soft and sooo shiny??. The botanicals that are packed into this shampoo are simply to die for. I love it❤❤

I have tried many many natural Shampoos but None of them really worked so far and I started to think thats just how my hair is; naturally wavy curly and kinda frizzy and dry. But since I have had great results with LL skincare that I never had with any other brand (natural or conventional) ever, I thought I could try out this Shampoo and just see what happens. I have yoused this for About 10 times now and my is just getting better and better. Ist very runny and foams up nicely. While also using the spirulina conditioner as a leave in Treatment my hair is Looking a lot more hydrated and shiny, a lot less frizz (not completely gone) and my curls/waves are finally coming back and a lot more defined. I used to struggle with an oily scalp, but now I can go 2-3 days without washing.

True Blue Spirulina shampoo also travelled with me (30 ml bottle) because it works both as a perfect shampoo for sensitive scalp and also as a body shower that leaves skin smooth and hydrated.

This shampoo is really good, the smell is ah-mazing and a little goes a long way. Unlike many “natural” shampoos it does clean your scalp very well but doesn’t dry it out. I have fine oily hair and have to wash it everyday, but it’s gentle enough, especially combined with one of the conditioners. I also use it as a spot on body wash, works like a charm!

Unfortunately for my wallet, Living Libations shampoos are the ONLY shampoos that don’t leave my thick, coarse, wavy hair looking and feeling weird. Yes, the price tag is ridiculously high, but the ingredients are sublime! This one smells like a sophisticated lemon-lime soft drink (a good thing for me!) and helps my hair behave! I like to rotate between this and the Seabuckthorn shampoo. I pre-condition my hair with coconut oil, so have no need to buy the Living Libations conditioners. A little goes a long way.

This is a beautiful shampoo, gorgeous scent and it lasts, you only need a little. It lathers well and cleans my oily scalp without stripping it. I’m not using a conditioner after because I just don’t need it.

I am glad I only bought a sample size of this and the conditioner. Like many natural shampoos there’s barely a lather and I felt that I needed a lot to get my hair clean. Which it wasn’t, I was left with oily roots. Yes, I only use organic shampoos free of silicones, so my hair is used to it. I bit of a lather would be appreciated, so I think this product ist not for me. What really disappointed me is the smell though, I was expecting it to smell as great as other LL-products. But I found it to be sickly sweet and not pleasant at all. I will have to say though, that the shampoo brought a nice sheen to my hair.

I am blown away by this shampoo. I have medium length, thick, curly hair. I wash my hair only once every ten days so I tend to get scalp buildup. I followed Nadine’s instructions from her video on Youtube about the LL shampoos and used only 1 tsp of the shampoo and kept adding small amounts of water, focussing on massaging it through my scalp. Then rinsed and used the Shine on conditioner. Again, only one tsp which I combed through my hair before rinsing. My hair is clean, shiny, and voluminous – using 1/4 the amount of shampoo I use with regular organic brands. Had many comments on it! Both this and the Shine on Conditioner smell incredible! Can’t stop touching my hair! Feels so different, so healthy!
