Natuurlijke/biologische Ingrediënten
Duindoorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) – Duindoorn zendt zijn lipiden diep in de huid en vermindert onevenwichtigheden van binnenuit. Dit superkritische extract zit boordevol omega vetzuren 3, 6, 7 en 9, antioxidanten, vitamine, palmitoleïnezuren, carotenoïden en fytosterolen. Een enkele druppel duindoornolie bevat 190 verschillende bioactieve stoffen. Deze helder oranje essence is ongelooflijk regenererend en huidzuiverend – het verlicht roodheid en vermindert wallen. Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) – Glorieuze, gouden jojoba voedt en verzorgt de dorstige huid. Lavendel kan worden gebruikt om het uiterlijk van littekens te verbeteren, de huidtint te egaliseren, acne te verzachten en het talggehalte van de huid in evenwicht te brengen.
Vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides) – Rijke, aardse vetiverolie is aardend en kalmerend voor de huid, en zalft de huid zoals de regen het gras zalft. Vetiver is een bekende vochtinbrenger die de huid helpt haar aangename volheid te behouden, terwijl hij vermoeide weefsels verzacht en de talgproductie in evenwicht brengt.
Grapefruit (Citrus x paradijs) – De verstevigende grapefruit verfrist de huid en maakt de huidtextuur strakker.

How to Use Our Best Skin Evers

Washing the face with pure pressed plant oils is an ancient Ayurvedic and gracious gypsy method to cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin. Nadine designed the Best Skin Evers to be your finest bathing and beauty aide. These oils plus water and a cloth are the simple essentials to cleanse, exfoliate, moisten and bedew.
Colder Temperature & The Best Skin Evers
We get almost daily questions about the Best Skin Evers and "bits" floating in it. I have discussed this before but am more than happy to do it again. The bits you see are pieces of coconut oil. The Best Skin Evers contain coconut oil and this oil (like many others, for that matter) becomes firmer/harder as the temperature drops. For example; I have a jar of coconut oil in the kitchen drawer at home that is spreadable but definitely not liquid!
We get these bottles delivered this way and it makes sense because on the way on the plane, in the cargo hold, it's cold, in our warehouse it's very cool and dark, so the coconut oil never gets to a point where it can melt.
And maybe you've experienced it yourself when you've put a bottle, for preservation, in the fridge. Then you can see almost the entire bottle "solidify" in a short time.
Fortunately, there is a very simple, effective solution to this; put the bottle in (hand) warm water and the coconut oil (but Tamanu can also cause this problem) will melt. Shake well and it's ready to use!
Pay attention to the pump as well, because you may have tried to use the product and there is also solidified coconut oil in the pump. You can reopen this by putting it in warm water for a while, drying it well and it is ready to use again.
A bit of work, but yes, it is thanks to the absence of preservatives! And that's a very nice thought then 😉
Directions: Washing/Cleansing your Face with Best Skin Ever
- Wet a small portion of a cloth with water.
- Apply one to two squirts of any of the Best Skin Evers to the dampened portion of the face cloth.
- Gently massage the face, neck and back of the neck with the moistened cloth. Wash gently or wash vigorously for a deeper exfoliating effect. Rinsing the face is optional.
If more moisture is needed, add another squirt or two of any of our Best Skin Evers or Libations Serums (Rose Glow, Soothsayer, Royal Rose, Sandalwood, Chocolate Karat, or Open Sky) to your fingertips and massage into the face and neck. If your skin feels extra thirsty, a Libations Crème (Sundew, Rose Glow, All Seeing, or Maverick) will satisfy.
You can also add a drop or two of any of the Serums to a dab of any of the Crèmes. They all blend beautifully together.
Directions: Using Best Skin Ever on your Body after a Bath or Shower
- Leave the body wet after a bath or shower.
- Wet a washcloth with water. Squeeze it out.
- Apply a few squirts onto the wet washcloth of any of the Best Skin Evers.
- Massage the entire body with the cloth, head to toe. Rub more vigorously to exfoliate.

Liquid Gold!
I buy this by the 1000ml because it’s liquid gold! It lasts me well over a year and I use it for everything! Cleansing and moisturising my face and body, as a leave in deep conditioner for my hair, add a little to my hair to stop frizz and flyaways, massage oil, cuticle oil… you name it! It’s amazing for acne, stretchmarks and so many other things. I decant it into a smaller bottle for travel and only need to take one bottle with me instead of a wash bag full of different products. It’s definitely a holy grail product!

I have been using SBBSE for 7 years and I love it. The very first Libation I tried and still my favorite. I have normal to dry skin and used only coconut oil before, but it always felt greasy. I just want to say that I’ve been struggling with adult hormonal acne for three years with periods of no flareups (a lot of it is stress induced) and have been so lost when it comes to skincare. I tried it all, chemical skincare and some high and natural products that all claimed they were going to transform my skin. They never did. I’m very impressed!! I’ve only been using it for 2 weeks but my skin has cleared a lot!! I’ve always had troublesome acne, recently I found out it’s hormonal. I came across this product while searching for products that could soften the appearance my adult acne. I never had acne while in my teenage years, only the occasional pimple, but never real acne. When I first heard of oil cleansing a few years back, I thought it was crazy and I would never do it. Why would I cleanse my oily Italian, acne prone skin with oil? I was wrong! This has to be the best method I’ve ever used to clean my skin (and I’ve tried it all). It actually makes the most sense to cleanse your skin with natural oils. Using the “like dissolves like” principle, when plant-based oils are applied to skin, excess oil produced by your skin dissolves. I’ve been using @livinglibations Best Skin Ever for 2 weeks now, and my skin’s clarity has improved drastically. Usually an hour after washing my skin, it feels dirty and oily. With this, my skin feels clean throughout the entire day. It’s still so weird for me to believe this. To use, I just pump a few drops onto clean hands and massage it onto my face for a few minutes. Then I take a clean organic washcloth and wet it with hot water and remove the oil. This stuff is a miracle for skin! It’s an all-in-one cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer in one. I really love the scent, the quality and the packaging but this unfortunately broke me out really bad. I have very sensitive and acne prone skin. This does not mean I have acne but I tend to break out really easy from a lot of things. Since I read so many good reviews I still purchased knowing it has coconut oil in it which is highly comedogenic. If your skin does not like coconut oil or is really sensitive this is not for you. Now I use it for my hands and body and I have to tell that the concentration is great and it lasts a long time. I think I will still try the sandalwood one in the future which is the only one without coconut and advertised to be for sensitive skin. I recommend buying the small size for the first time to see how your skin reacts to it.

So I bought Seabuckthorn BSE for my acne and acne scarring, I was really skeptical about using oil on my oily skin to cleanse it, but after doing a ton of research, I was excited about getting my hands on this product! After two weeks of using it, I’ve seen a significant improvement in my scarring and cheek/jawline tissue! I really like the oil for facial cleansing! It reduces inflammation and acne heals so much faster with it. It even prevents acne from getting big and inflamed. But it is an oil and at least for my skin it’s not moisturizing. On some days my skin is fine but on other days my skin is dry and flakey. Nevertheless I give it 5 stars cause I really like this oil.

I keep returning to this product everytime my skin is irritated or adult acne appears. I put a little bit on a wet washcloth and clean my face. It works like magic each time. There is always a bottle of Seabuckthorn BSE in my cabinet because of the versatility of this magical oil.
