Ultra Fine Silica crystals are blended in a nourishing base of pure aloe algae gel to give professional quality results from a dermal exfoliation self-treatment. Produces an immediate, noticeable appearance and feeling of more youthful skin results after only one treatment. With daily exfoliation of the skin’s surface with Shankara’s Microcrystal Exfoliation Treatment, aging effects continue to decrease as fine lines fade and wrinkles and sagging are reduced. Skin tone evens out and discolorations fade. The skin takes on a renewed look of refined radiance. Diatomaceous earth and Ayurvedic herbs help purify new skin as old cells are removed. The ultra-fine crystals do not damage tissues or remove the skin’s natural acid mantle. The anti-inflammatory algae-aloe gel base soothes new skin as it leaves a hydrating film of protection after rinsing. PH 5.5-5.6, balanced for skin.
Directions
Apply to wet skin and gently scrub with finger tips. Adjust to skin’s sensitivity by mixing with a little water or cleanser before applying. Rinse off. NOTE: Avoid using on irritated or acneic skin.

I first tried this as part of the trial-size kit and loved it. The microfine grains are super gentle on my sensitive skin. I use it after the Hydrating Cleanser and I don’t feel stripped of natural moisture. Because my skin is so sensitive, and I suffered from acne for many adult years, I am very picky about what I put on my face and would highly recommend this (and all Shankara products) to anyone in search of quality chemical-free products. I am so happy I found Shankara!

Amazing results!
Loooove this product so much!! I love how it feels on my skin, and how my skin glows afterwards. I like to mix it with the Hydrating Cleanser. I follow with the serum and oil (for Pitta), and I feel that using the exfoliator helps the products absorb so nicely into my skin. My skin feels smooth and refreshed, never irritated. This exfoliator is also fun to use, one of my all-time fave products!!
