Blossom Facial Steam

Purpose

A deeply soothing facial steam that unclogs pores, deeply hydrates and rejuvenates stressed, irritated, sun-kissed and mature skin.

Where essential oil steams can interfere with our delicate system and tend to aggravate rather than heal, whole blossom steams gently cocoons our skin and senses into a warm, totally relaxed, yet deeply powerful release which leaves our skin dewy, refreshed and illuminated.

Opens pores and hearts, lifts away dryness, invigorates tired skin like nothing else.

Ritual

I prefer to do this at night time, Saturday eve is my day for this, usually, and I also drink the tea after my steam. But it can be a wonderful break any time of day, really.

Boil three cups of water. Remove from heat pour into a bowl then add about 10gr (1-2 tablespoons) of flowers. A little goes a long way since these are so active. Cover with a lid or plate (no plastic!) and steep for 5 minutes. Throw a towel over your head, hold your face over the steaming bath, close your eyes for 10 and let the steam open your pores and soul. Rinse your face after with cool water and massage with PRECIOUS FACE OIL or INTENSIVE RENEW NIGHT ELIXIR.

If you are on the run, soak a soft washcloth and apply as a compress. Drink the tea after steaming for inside out bliss, why not!

One jar holds about 30 steams.
