Lokaal bekend als Moena Alcanforada of Gecamforeerde Moena, wordt deze zeldzame essenti\u00eble olie gebruikt door de inheemse bevolking van het Amazonegebied en de Madre de Dios om haar verkoelende, kalmerende eigenschappen.<\/p>\n

Er zijn veel verschillende soorten Moenabomen, die alle behoren tot de botanische familie Lauraceae. Tot deze familie behoort ook Braziliaans Rozenhout, dat in Peru sterk overgecultiveerd is vanwege zijn populariteit in de parfumindustrie en het gebruik in colognes als Chanel No. 5.<\/p>\n

Bij het onderzoek naar Moena als een alternatief voor Rozenhout, leerde onze distilleerder dat Moena erg leek op Rozenhout in termen van geur en zelfzorg voordelen, maar niet dezelfde ecologische en ecologische bedreigingen met zich meebracht als Rozenhout. In feite heeft de bewuste teelt van Moenabomen in Madre de Dios de plaatselijke economie en ecologie ten goede gekomen.<\/p>\n

In 2010 plantte onze distilleerder 500 Moena Alcanforada bomen in een herbebossing die nu de grootste in zijn soort ter wereld is. Bovendien werken ze samen met de plaatselijke gemeenschap om boeren te leren hoe ze de aanplant van bomen te gelde kunnen maken met andere bosproducten dan hout, zoals het distilleren van essenti\u00eble oli\u00ebn. Dankzij dit project is het nu rendabeler om bomen te planten dan om ze te kappen – een feit dat een wonderbaarlijk, harmoniserend effect heeft gehad op het plaatselijke regenwoud.<\/p>\n

Een enkel flesje Moena Essential oil ondersteunt een gezond milieu en ecosysteem, houdt het regenwoud in Peru in stand en geeft de lokale bevolking een duurzame manier om geld te verdienen met het planten van bomen en het destilleren van essenti\u00eble olie.<\/p>\n

Er zijn vele soorten Moenabomen in deze familie, en alle staan bij de plaatselijke bevolking bekend om hun heerlijke geuren en waardevolle hout. Deze omvatten kaneel, anijs, avocado en gele Moena, evenals de verkoelende kamfer van Moena Alcanforada. Het was deze bijzondere soort die onze distilleerder in de eerste plaats aansprak vanwege de verzachtende zelfzorgende voordelen. Moena olie wordt ook gebruikt om helderheid te ontsteken en zorgen te zuiveren.<\/p>\n
