Wierook essence wordt gedestilleerd uit vloeibare parels van de levensboom. Onze Frankincense Essential Oil komt uit Somaliland, waar de hoogste kwaliteit gommen vandaan komen die hun oorsprong vinden in de oudste bosjes die geworteld zijn in de oudheid: De Dhallo Vallei, het hart van het vaderland van Frankincense. Onze unieke distilleerder is gespecialiseerd in de hydro-distillatie van de verse oleo-gomharsen van Frankincense. Het is zeer zeldzaam dat Frankincense wordt gedistilleerd met materiaal van de verse oogst – hierdoor ontstaat een rijke Frankincense olie met een breed scala aan ongelooflijke top- en hartnoten.<\/p>\n

Onze distilleerder beschrijft zijn eerste bezoek aan het oude woud: “Ik stond aan de rand van de helling met uitzicht op de kustlijn van de Golf en de oude wierookbomen, Boswellia carterii. Toen we de pas beklommen, kwamen we in de oude wierookbossen die al duizenden jaren in stamverband werden geoogst. Duizenden, van de soort Frankincense carterii met hun bolvormige stammen groeien uit stevige conglomeraten. Met hun afbladderende en dikke stammen dacht ik dat ik in een geparfumeerde tuin van heerlijkheden stond en dat het waarschijnlijk precies die tuin-groeve was die de gom opleverde die een geschenk werd van de Wijzen voor het kindje Jezus.”<\/p>\n

Frankincense Essential Oil is een versterkende tonic die al duizenden jaren eerbiedig wordt gebruikt voor religieuze en ceremoni\u00eble doeleinden, plantaardige farmacopie, en ook voor wassingen om het lichaam te verfraaien. Cultureel en historisch gezien is het aroma van wierook “leven”. Wierook zalft pasgeborenen, mediterende monniken, chakra’s van het derde oog, yogi’s en sjamanen.
