Lion’s Mane liquid extract

Een van onze all-time favorieten! De Leeuwen manen paddenstoel! Ook wel “De slimme paddenstoel” of “De priester van de bergen” genoemd. In Japan wordt deze paddenstoel al eeuwenlang gebruikt voor zijn vermeende mentale ondersteuning en herstellende werking. Echt een bijzonder gezicht als je hem in het bos tegenkomt, hangend aan een boomstronk. Wat maakt Lion’s mane zo bijzonder? De ericenonen en erinacinen (alkaloïden die in leeuwenmanen aanwezig zijn) zorgen ervoor dat het lichaam de aanmaak van de lichaamseigen stof NGF stimuleert. NGF staat voor zenuwgroeifactor. NGF is nodig voor de groei van bepaalde neuronen in onze hersenen. Het speelt ook een rol bij myelinisatie. Een proces dat zorgt voor signaaloverdracht door de zenuwen.
