Hair Breakage

As hair ages and becomes longer, it is usual to see hair breaking, but how can you know if the breakage is unnatural, terrible for your hair, or doing more harm than good?

Naturally, you should notice relatively low levels of hair breakage if you give your hair continual care and attention with routine conditioning, hair masks, and some leave-in conditioner for protection.

But it is uncommon to witness no hair breakage as your hair becomes longer due to a hectic lifestyle, regular styling, and environmental pollution.

What are the main reasons for hair loss?

The following are the top five offenders.

  1. Excessive hair manipulation with brushes, hot irons, and high tension styles can, in the worst circumstances, cause tension alopecia. For easier wash and go hairstyles, a sloppy braid, pineapple hairstyle, etc., is perfect because it protects your hair from the sun. Tight hairstyles can be harmful since they frequently cause hair to be pulled and torn, which can result in traction alopecia. Take a scrunchie and bind it loosely.Try to limit the amount of time you spend pulling, tugging, stying, and brushing. It is good to occasionally just let your hair be without pulling, tugging, tensing, or brushing it.
  2. A deficiency in moisture can cause extremely dry hair and scalp.
Consequently, your hair follicles become more vulnerable to injury and breaking.
You should not skimp on your leave-in conditioner and detangling spray at this time.
  3. Hair that lacks protein.
Short hair tends to be stronger since it is more recently formed and densely packed with proteins.
As your hair lengthens, be sure to use enough of leave-in conditioner and quinoa protein-rich detangling products to give your hair strength and prevent breakage.

  4. One of the main factors behind hair issues is stress.
Internal hormone imbalances may affect hair development, and while under stress, we simply have a tendency to mess with our hair externally.

  5. Illness
Hair loss can occasionally be brought on by disease or be a side effect of medications you are taking. If you see a sudden increase in hair loss, consult your doctor and receive advice on your condition.

  3. Can you see any split ends ?
