Don\u2019t touch, Wilma!<br \/>Difficult, very difficult for me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"thin-font\">Tanja (who treated me) was satisfied, my skin looks calm and it still recovers. Very positive!<br \/>We decided a few things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">the next treatment will be in 4 weeks<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I may cleans my face 2 or 3 times a week, only in the evening<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"s1\">I may use a serum, also just 2 or 3 times a week, in the evening.<br \/>This way, my skin will have the time to repair itself and to get used to the new situation.<\/span><\/span>\n<p class=\"thin-font\">In the meantime I have learned a lot about rosacea, demodex, my triggers and (hopefully! ) my solutions.<br \/>One of my solutions is an acid\u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"thin-font\">As I told you before; demodex loves sebum, they love oils. And they love clogged pores filled with sebum and dead skin cells.<br \/>And some acids can help you to unclog your pores and remove dead skin cells! <br \/>Don\u2019t let the word \u201cacid\u201d scare you. It works on skin as a gentle leave-on exfoliant which helps unclog pores and refine skin\u2019s surface.<br \/>It also lessens factors that lead to sensitivity and bumps and has antioxidant benefits. There are many independent scientific studies on salicylic acid that prove the effectiveness of this acid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Fresh, radiant and smooth<br \/><\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\">Salicylic acid is used as an exfoliant for the skin. Exfoliating is a gentle word for removing the dead skin cells which constantly accumulate on your face. <br \/>The result: your skin is fresher, more radiant and smoother. Your skin will become dull and pale if you do not regularly remove those dead skin cells.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Great results<br \/><\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\">Salicylic acid can give your skin a beautiful and radiant appearance in no time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Since an exfoliant can irritate somewhat in the beginning, it\u2019s important the product also contains soothing ingredients. <br \/>Or you can combine the exfoliant with a moisturizer which contains soothing ingredients, too.<br \/>The exfoliant (BHA) needs to be well absorbed before you apply the moisturizer on your skin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>For whom?<br \/><\/b><\/span><span class=\"s2\">Salicylic acid is fat-soluble and therefore very suitable for oily and impure skin. And for rosacea skin!<br \/>It penetrates the pores and dissolves accumulated sebum, one of the best solutions against blackheads, blemishes and enlarged pores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Salicylic acid has the same chemical structure as the well-known painkiller aspirin and therefore it also has an anti-inflammatory function. This means that if you are allergic to aspirin, you need to be careful with the use of salicylic acid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Research shows that salicylic acid is very suitable for skin with acne or rosacea.
