1. It’s high in antioxidants.
Did you know that pure chocolate made with raw cacao it is one of the higher in antioxidants than fruit?

Before you go running to grab a chocolate bar, remember that cacao content matters. Always go for 70% and higher to make sure you get a high share of antioxidants. And forget the milky, sugary, and over-processed crap because those are sources of nothing but empty calories. Adding extras to chocolate, like milk and sugar, actually blocks the antioxidants off the cacao.

But why should we eat foods high in antioxidants?

Antioxidants are substances that prevent damage to our cells caused by free radicals.
